10 of 13 on the road

If you're a Penguin fan, you know we're on the outside looking in, and at the same time, you're scratching your head trying to figure out what's going on. Times are not about to get easier. The Penguins must play 10 of their next 13 games on the road (11 of 14 including last night's game against Toronto).

The Penguins kickstarted the road-ridden stretch with a 2-6 beat-down versus lower-ranking Toronto, which, I'm guessing, was no help to the team's overall confidence, even with Sergei Gonchar and Ruslan Fedotenko back into the line-up.

I will say this, Gonchar is just getting back into the groove and will need a few games to get his game-legs, but it shouldn't take too long. I expect that with a 95-100% Gonchar and the healthy squad they have, the Penguins could earn 16-20 points during that stretch, if they play the way they have played against the League's Best lately such as Detroit, San Jose, and the Rangers.

Let's go Pens!
