The Maple Leafs scored 6 unanswered goals and the Penguins start their road trip with a big loss. Thomas scored shorthanded and Cooke scored early to earn a 2-0 lead after 1. After that it was all downhill. The Leafs dominated play and led in scoring chances and shots easily. Again, I could not watch the game, so I couldn't get a gauge of how Gonchar and Fedotenko did on their returns into the line-up.
Either way, the Penguins got spanked. Let's hope this embarrassment fades and we can get serious about hockey again.
